No taxation without representation

"No taxation without representation" is a political slogan that originated in the Statesian Revolution which expressed one of the primary grievances of colonists against the British Crown.

In modern times, the phrase has become useful again due to the fact that the government of the United States is controlled by capitalist plutocrats; the U.S. working class is heavily taxed, but according to Princeton University, there is no representation for the commoners. This is a predictable phenomenon of so-called "liberal (capitalist) democracies" which are actually bourgeois dictatorships. The USA spends 37% of its tax revenue on war instead of helping the working class.
