Hexbear

Hexbear is the largest communist Lemmy instance, with over 1,400 monthly users. It is similar to Lemmygrad but is dedicated to left unity instead of Marxism-Leninism.^[1] In August 2023, it federated with Lemmygrad and nine other Lemmy instances.^[2] Lemmy.world, the largest Lemmy instance, blocked Hexbear from federating and also threatened to defederate with Lemmygrad.^[3]
