Dogsomyn Bodoo (1885 July 1 – 1922 August 31) was a Mongolian revolutionary. He fought in the People's Revolution of 1921 but ultimately represented the interests of feudal officials.[1]:281
Pre-revolution
In the summer of 1920, Bodoo traveled to Soviet Russia in a delegation with Sükhbaatar, Chagdarjav, Dogsom, and Losol and arrived in Verkneudinsk (now Ulaan-Üde) on July 22. Along with Danzan, he did not want to request support from the Bolsheviks. In August, Bodoo and Dogsom returned to Örgöö (now Ulaanbaatar) while Sükhbaatar and Choibalsan remained in Irkutsk and Danzan's group went to Moscow to meet with Lenin.[1]:280–2
In Örgöö, Bodoo collaborated with Ungern's dictatorship because of its opposition to the Chinese warlords.[1]:285
Revolution
On 1921 March 13, Bodoo was elected to the first People's Provisional Government in Troitskosavsk (Hiagt).[1]:292–3 On July 16, Bodoo became Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the first permanent People's Government.[1]:300
In 1922, Bodoo was tried and convicted for involvement in a counterrevolutionary conspiracy.[1]:309
