Thomas Noguchi (born 1927 January 4) is the coroner of Los Angeles County who performed an autopsy on Robert F. Kennedy after his assassination in 1968.[1]
RFK assassination
Noguchi concluded that all three shots that hit Kennedy came from behind at point blank range, possibly with the gun even touching his body. The fatal bullet entered his head behind his right ear.[1]
Trial of Sirhan Sirhan
Sirhan's mafia-connected lawyer Grant Cooper cut short Noguchi's testimony at the trial of Sirhan Sirhan, the alleged assassin. The trial did not admit his autopsy report as evidence. The SUS unit of the LAPD tried to make him commit perjury and suspended his license when he refused.[1]
