Frederick Allen Hampton (August 30, 1948 – December 4, 1969) was a Statesian Marxist-Leninist[1] and member of the Black Panther Party. The FBI drugged and assassinated him at the age of 21.[2]
Early life[edit | edit source]
Hampton graduated high school in 1966 and studied pre-law in college.[3]
Political activism[edit | edit source]
Hampton joined the Black Panther Party at the age of 18. He founded the Rainbow Coalition, a multiracial alliance between the Black Panthers, Young Lords, Young Patriots, SDS, Brown Berets, and Red Guard Party.[3]
