MAGACommunism is an opportunist and tailist online slogan that calls for the ideological unification of Marxists and the reactionary capitalist Trumpite movement that is promoted largely by Statesian patriotic socialists and other social-chauvinists.[1][2][3][4][5]
The slogan appeared in August 2022 on Twitter. It has yet to be organised in an actual political party or have its theory practiced.
While this clique is highly vocal, very few people seem to have been convinced by it. Their social media strategy is to spam content, no matter how nonsensical, to create virality through engagement and the illusion of popularity.
MAGACommunism can be compared to Strasserism due to their mutual opposition to finance capital, "globalists", and their "pro-small business" stance which echoes Strasser's "guild socialism".
