Ronni Karpen Moffitt (January 10, 1951 – September 21, 1976) was a fundraiser for the progressive Institute for Policy Studies think tank.[1]

Assassination[edit | edit source]

On orders from Manuel Contreras, CIA and DINA agent Michael Townley killed Moffitt and Orlando Letelier with a car bomb while they were driving on Embassy Row in Washington, D.C. Michael Moffitt, Ronni's husband who was also in the car, survived with minor wounds.[1]
