History

In the 1960's, Turkey was given PGM-19 Jupiter missiles by the United States to target the Soviet Union.[1] This nearly led to a nuclear war.

In 1980, the U.S. supported a military coup in Turkey.[2]

In 2018, Turkey invaded Syria on the United States' behalf, killing 500 civilians.[3]
