Special Unit Senator (SUS) was a special unit of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) created to investigate and cover up the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. Its leaders were Lt. Manuel Peña and Enrique Hernández, both connected to the CIA. The SUS requested that the FBI report any stories that questioned the official narrative that Sirhan Sirhan killed Kennedy. It also suspended coroner Thomas Noguchi's medical license after he said there were two shooters and that Sirhan was not the killer.[1]
