ProleWiki has a brand new homepage! Read our release here.

You can now download our pages as PDF or EPUB books! To do so, open the main menu and click "Create a book" at the far end of it. Then follow the instructions. You can add several different pages to a book, and then download it all as one file. We hope you enjoy this new feature!

We are proud to announce our brand new Essays space! Read our release here. The new custom-built essays frontend looks closer to a blog and whereas the legacy essays space ordered essays by author, this new interface orders them by publication date with a sidebar of available items. It also provides an excerpt of the essay, ultimately all improving discovery.

ProleWiki now has its own merch shop! Several people indicated they wanted ProleWiki stickers and other merch, and we obliged. We also teamed up with artist Tamaryn who graciously offered some of her own designs, go check them out! All proceeds go towards funding ProleWiki.

We now have an onboarding page for new editors! This will help our new editors get up to speed on how ProleWiki works and what they can do once their account is approved. We have also clarified the basis of the Comrade role, which allows editors to create new pages and upload pictures -- it will all soon be renamed to Trusted Editor on both the wiki and discord server.

We have officially deployed our new hosting plan. We now have twice the server resources as well as twice the storage space. You can see our finances at any time on this page.

We have adopted a new default theme, the Citizen skin, for the wiki. If you would like to change your default skin to another, go into your Preferences.

Our comrade Jucheguevara has provided all financial support to upgrade ProleWiki's servers to a VPS for one year. This means we'll be quickly having full support for internationalization and additional features, possibly in less than a month. Our appreciation to comrade Jucheguevara! (OUTDATED) We have a draft of ProleWiki's main policies related to governance and editorial conventions. These documents are always up to discussion, and all comrades are free to contribute to its development.

- ProleWiki now has a centralized webpage: https://prolewiki.org. This will make translations much easier in the future,[1] but it also means you should refrain from translating anything at the moment, since we would probably need a lot of work to transfer articles later. See the Lemmygrad post for more information.
- We had to restrict creating and editing articles for anonymous and new users because of spamming. Contact us at our community in Lemmygrad, and we'll quickly unrestrict your access. Check out the Lemmygrad post about it.
