Wikispooks is an online wiki dedicated to collecting information about deep politics. In Marxist-Leninist terms, deep politics are the "private" affairs of the bourgeoisie, which are in contrast to the "public" affairs of the so-called "democratic" state.
The content on Wikispooks is not always of a high enough quality for use by ProleWiki, but it does provide a counter-hegemonic perspective to contrast the mainstream narratives promoted on Wikipedia and in the corporate-controlled media. While some perspectives promoted on Wikispooks can be considered right-wing, there as also some very good left-wing (materialist) analyses of imperialism and the capitalist ruling class.
Site outage
In November of 2021, there was a 5 day outage from the 12th to the 17th.[1] Given the nature of the project, speculation abounded about possible censorship from the UK government, where the site is registered.[2][3][4] ProleWiki has independently confirmed that Wikispooks experienced an "advanced DDoS attack". They are continuing to investigate the specific origins of the attack.
Similar attacks had occurred earlier on the 26th of June, but these attacks only lasted for 8 hours. This 5 day outage marks an apparent intensification of attacks by unknown actors.
