The Communist Organization of Greece otherwise known in Greek as the Κομμουνιστική Οργάνωση Ελλάδας or the Kommounistikí Orgánosi Elládas is a Greek Political Party. The main ideology of the KOE is Marxism and Maoism as they support Marxist Ideology with all the historical experience of the Communist Movement.
The KOE was created in the Communist Party of Greece when the KKE turned to revisionism during 1956 and that turn to Revisionism caused the party to expel Nikos Zachariadis and numerous hard line Stalinists were excluded from the Party due to the KKE's turn to revisionism. Numerous members of the KKE who left started their own organization called the Organization of Marxist-Leninists of Greece.
