The Revolutionary Communist Group (RCG) is a Communist political party in the United Kingdom.
Political positions[edit | edit source]
The RCG is of Trotskyist origins, but currently takes stances more typical of Marxist-Leninists, such as defending the Soviet Union.
The RCG believes Deng Xiaoping restored capitalism in China, and is sceptical of China's socialist market economy as a method of building socialism.[1] However, it considers Cuba to be a legitimate socialist experiment. Unlike the Communist Party of Britain, it rejects the two-state solution in Palestine and advocates for the abolition of the state of Israel.
The RCG also separates itself from several other British Marxist parties by being unequivocally opposed to transphobia in all its forms.
