The Communist Party (Switzerland) is a communist party in Switzerland mainly based in the southern (italian speaking) side of the country, where it has 2 members of the parliament and 17 municipal councillors. Of Marxist-Leninist tradition, this Party with many young members has its own creative theoretical elaboration and refers to workers' patriotism.
The Communist Party advocates for a return to Swiss neutrality, by ending Swiss cooperation with imperialist military alliances such as NATO. It has also expressed support for China and criticized Western provocations in Taiwan Province.[1]
