The Communist Organization of Greece (Greek: Κομμουνιστική Οργάνωση Ελλάδας, abbreviated KOE). The main ideology of the KOE is Marxism and Maoism, and it supports Marxist Ideology with all the historical experience of the communist movement.
The KOE was created in the Communist Party of Greece when the latter turned to revisionism during 1956 causing the party to expel Nikos Zachariadis and other members who supported Stalin. Numerous members of the KKE who left started their own organization called the Organization of Marxist-Leninists of Greece.
