The Communist Party of the Philippines, shortened to CPP, is a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist party in the Philippines.
(Unfair) Designations as a Terrorist Organization
The CPP has been unfairly designated as a terrorist organization by bourgeois countries.
In December 2017, the Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte, issued a proclamation declaring the CPP as a "terrorist" organization.[1]
The United States [2] designated the CPP as a "foreign terrorist organization" in August 2002.
The European Union[3] also designated the CPP as a "foreign terrorist organization" in 2005.
