The Party of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat (Partiya Diktaturi Proletariata) (PDP) was a Marxist-Leninist communist political party in Russia, founded in 1989. It was a Maoist movement born during the illegal dissolution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The party acted solely within the city of Samara, gathering support from the machine workers inside the city and in its surrounding regions, and was led by Grigory Isayev, until his death in 2020 led to the de-facto dissolution of the party. The PDP used to publish the newspaper Zabastovka (English: "Strike Action")[1].
