The Communist Party of Australia (CPA) is a Marxist–Leninist party in Australia.[1] At its 14th party congress in 2022, it condemned AUKUS, an imperialist military alliance that includes Australia.[2]
Indigenous rights
The CPA recognizes Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples as the original inhabitants of Australia and supports their right to own and control Australia's land and resources. It also advocates for the establishment of an Aboriginal advisory body that is elected by indigenous voters and supports the use of indigenous languages in all primary schools.[3]
